Friends of Chrysalis
The Friends of Chrysalis meet on a monthly basis to plan and discuss ways to support the needs of those affected by domestic abuse and served by Chrysalis.
Friends of Chrysalis have three membership options:
• Active Member: One who attends at least a majority of the regularly scheduled monthly meetings and volunteers on at least three committees and/or projects. Annual dues: $40 single, $75 couple.
• Supporting Member: One who may not be able to attend the majority of meetings, but would be able to volunteer on committees and projects. Annual dues: $100.
• Benefactor: One willing to support the efforts of Chrysalis with a monetary donation of $200 or more annually, but is not required to attend monthly meetings or volunteer.
Friends of Chrysalis provides the opportunity to volunteer directly and to participate in activities that support Chrysalis programs, such as:
VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES:
- Dinners at the shelters
- Wonderland Workshop at the Holidays
- Community Outreach
- Individual and group volunteering at the shelters
FUNDRAISERS:
- Chrysalis Center Stage special event fundraiser
- Arizona Cooks for Chrysalis cookbook
PROVIDE RESOURCES
- Cultivate relationships with outside organizations and businesses to provide donations of goods, services and funds.
Membership dues cover the period beginning January 1st through December 31st of the same year.
